U.S. Central Command submitted a five-second video clip of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon to AARO, captured by a full-motion video camera on a U.S. military platform in 2024. A mission report described the object as a misshapen ball of white light with a glare-like halo at the top of the feed.
Released through the PURSUE declassification, this record holds a five-second full-motion video (FMV) clip that U.S. Central Command forwarded to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). The footage came from an FMV camera aboard a U.S. military platform operating over Syria in 2024.
The accompanying mission report described the phenomenon as a "misshapen and uneven ball of white light" with a light or glare halo effect near the top of the feed. In the brief footage, two semi-transparent, irregularly shaped orange areas overlay the background imagery, each lasting under two seconds. The Department of War offered the description for information only, without any analytical judgment.
