A 63-second infrared video, likely recorded by a U.S. military platform in the U.S. Northern Command region in 2023, tracks an area of contrast near the center of the frame and later shows a second contrast area appearing. The footage was uploaded to a classified network in July 2023.
This Department of War record, released through the PURSUE declassification, was identified by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) among materials requested by U.S. House members in March 2026. AARO assesses the 63-second clip likely came from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) area of responsibility in 2023. A user uploaded it to a classified network in July 2023.
For roughly the first half the sensor tracks an area of contrast near the center of the field of view; the object then briefly moves in and out of the top of the frame as the sensor pans to follow it. Around the 48-second mark a second area of contrast becomes visible in the upper-right of the screen. The description is informational only and reflects no conclusion about the event.
