This Department of War record, DOW-UAP-PR095, is among 51 potentially UAP-related materials requested by eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives on March 6, 2026 and located by AARO on a classified network, many lacking a substantiated chain of custody. It was released through the PURSUE declassification.
AARO assesses the footage was likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2020, uploaded to a classified network in May 2020. The sensor tracks an area of contrast that, at higher magnification, appears as several distinct areas moving in and out of frame as the sensor pans to keep them in view; the contrast areas eventually exit and the remainder of the file has no content.
