In July 2025, at approximately 2100 local time in the northeastern United States, an eyewitness observed an intense bright light in their backyard upon returning home from work. The light hovered roughly 25 feet off the ground below a tree line, at an estimated 90 feet away. The eyewitness's spouse came outside and also saw the light, describing it as a brilliant red sphere about one meter in diameter, with a center resembling a white plasma sun about the size of a basketball. A second, identical orb was observed hovering above the first.
The eyewitness recorded the event on an iPhone 14 Pro Max as the two orbs moved westward together above a nearby tree line. The witnesses described the motion as silent and smooth, as though the orbs were flying in formation or tethered, and reported that the orbs appeared to merge as they moved out of sight at an estimated distance of 75 yards. The location was within 25 miles of the Triangle Orbs, Red Orb Rotation, and Orbs Over the Pond sightings, in a sparsely populated area well known to the witnesses.
