In the Visual Sightings section, astronauts L. Gordon Cooper and Charles "Pete" Conrad described seeing debris, "snow," and various glittering particles during the mission.
This NASA document is the second part of a preliminary transcript prepared from voice recordings of the Gemini 5 flight crew's technical debriefing. The debriefing took place between August 30 and September 2, 1965, at the Crew Quarters in Cape Kennedy, Florida.
Within the "Visual Sightings" section (pages 157-220), astronauts L. Gordon Cooper and Charles "Pete" Conrad recounted observing debris, "snow," and an assortment of glittering pieces during the flight. The record was released through the PURSUE declassification.
