Over several weeks beginning in November 2024, hundreds of large unidentified objects appeared nightly over New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The FAA issued temporary flight restrictions over sensitive sites including Langley Air Force Base; Congress held emergency briefings; and the DoD admitted it could not identify most of the objects, never providing an official explanation. Its scale and duration made it one of the largest domestic UAP events in the U.S. in decades.
