In November 1975, Arizona logger Travis Walton allegedly disappeared after being struck by a beam from an unidentified craft while heading home with six co-workers. The six fled and called police; Walton reappeared five days later describing being aboard a craft and encountering robotic and humanoid figures. Law enforcement briefly treated it as a possible homicide. All seven men took polygraph tests, six passing immediately. It is among the most prominent multi-witness abduction accounts on record and was later adapted into a film. It remains witness testimony.
